BRIG. NARINDER K. SAPRA INDIA REPRESENTATIVE Brigadier N.K. Sapra -Country Representative, India. Brig. Sapra is a post graduate in Electronics Engineering, Equipment Management and Business Management along with diplomas in Automobile Engineering, Strategic Management and Advance Work Study. He left the Indian Army on 1 January 2002 as its Chief Electronics Engineer, where he was overall in-charge for carrying out technical evaluation and formulate life long Equipment Support Plans for all types of electronic equipment, including Telecommunications, Radars, Test Equipment both in service and new technology equipment under induction in the Indian Army. It envisaged complete range of connected activities incorporating, type and quantity of spare parts/special test equipment, assessing maintainability/ reparability, manpower and training required to provide Life Long Support to keep all equipment operationally fit even after the manufacturers close their production lines. In some of his previous appointments with the Indian Army, he headed Mechanical Division of Border Roads Organization in Arunachal Pradesh, India. He was overall Head of all Administrative and Finance Departments of the Indian Military Academy and Army Cadet College, Dehradun and earlier of an active Mountain Brigade. He was in-charge of Production Planning and Control and for local Procurement of spare parts in Army Base Workshop, Pune (3500 workers) involved in repair of Tanks, Medical Equipment and Manufacture of Special Vehicle Bodies and Artificial Limbs parts. He has a vast experience in Techno Management for manufacturing and repair/maintenance of all type of vehicles and equipment and procurement of stores. He is an expert in carrying out technical evaluation of varied type of vehicles/equipment. While serving in the Indian Army, Brig. Sapra was also responsible to make policies and update training techniques pertaining to Corps of Electronics & Mechanical Engineering and Material Management. After leaving the Indian Army, he worked for 3 years in National Council of Applied Economic Research, New Delhi as its Registrar and Secretary. He coordinated work on varied subjects in Economics and Financial Research projects approximately 40 at any one given time. He headed all services divisions including Finance Department of the National Council. Brig Sapra is alumni of RIMC, National Defence, Indian Military Academy, College of Defence Management, Defence Institute of Technical Management, Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, Military College of War, Military College of Telecommunications Engineering, EME School, IAT, AIMA among some other Institutions.
