DR. MIHIR K. SINHA SENIOR ADVISOR Dr. Mihir K. Sinha – Dr.Mihir K. Sinha is the founder of IFTC, LLC, based in Plainsboro, NJ, U.S.A. Dr.Sinha is an energy finance specialist. He has more than 25 years of hands on, broad and diversified financial and technical experience in International Commercial and Investment banking management. Prior to the formation of IFTC, LLC.; Dr. Sinha provided consulting services to several clients and taught finance courses at the City University of New York. He served as an consultant to Nations Energy Company, Ltd., Geneva; GEECL – Kolkata & IFM Resources, Princeton in the areas of Business valuation, advice on financial strategy including industry research and analysis to evaluate market trends for assisting the company management in developing business and strategic priorities and Merger and Acquisition. Dr. Sinha retired as a vice president from J.P. Morgan in 1998. During the course of his tenure (1982-1998) with J. P. Morgan, he worked in a verity of roles both in Commercial and Investment banking primarily focusing on energy related exposures. Dr. Sinha’s experience include management and leadership roles in the execution of major domestic and international projects involving formation of joint venture, merger, acquisition & divestiture, capital structure issues, project finance, recourse and non-recourse lending, risk management, equity investment, credit & equity research. His emerging markets experience includes the Former Soviet Union, as well as countries in Latin America and Asia. For a period of several years Dr. Sinha headed the Engineering Services group of J.P. Morgan in New York. Engineering Services Group was responsible for providing technical expertise and advice for the bank’s petroleum, energy, chemical and mining related projects to Corporate Finance, Financial Advisory and Merger & Acquisition departments. Dr. Sinha is a registered Professional Engineer (P. E). Prior to joining J. P. Morgan he held positions with the Oil and Natural Gas Commission f India, Texaco, Inc., Northwest Energy Corporation and Rocky Mountain Petroleum Consultants. His technical experience includes Oil and Gas production, Reservoir Engineering and Natural Gas Processing. Dr. Sinha received a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from Indian School of mines, Dhanbad, India, and M.S. and Ph. D degrees in petroleum and Chemical Engineering respectively from West Virginia University. He has authored numerous technical publications and is a member of the National Association of Petroleum Investment Analysts, New York Oil and Gas group and a life member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
