RESEARCH ANALYST

Mamta Chugh is a Research Analyst at IFM Resources, Inc. Ms. Chugh conducts research on investment/financing projects covering various areas of natural resources including  oil , gas, coal, mining, and infrastructure projects like road ways and power, and renewable sources  projects (sun, wind, biomass, hydroelectric, etc).  Work includes investment research as well as valuation and financial advisory work using information from public sources. Create presentations and prepare background information for companies and clients.  Also assist in drafting proposal and business letters, editing proposals and assisting in IFM’s general organizational matters.

Ms Chugh’s prior experience include an elementary school teacher working as a home-room teacher in charge of fourth grade in  Upper Township Elementary School District, New Jersey, from 2001-2003. From 1998 to 2005 she worked in several other schools as lead and assistant teacher both part and full time.

Her education background includes Rowan University (July ’02- August’03):  Part-time student worked towards a Master’s Degree in Student Personnel Services where she completed graduate work (both through class assignments and independent research) in many areas of psychology including the study of psychology of natural science, psychometrics. Rider University (Fall 1998- Spring 2001):  Double major in elementary/ early childhood education and political science.  Dean’s list, 5 semesters. Elementary Education GPA of 3.83; Overall GPA of 3.6, Graduated Magna Cum Laude, Graduated with honors in political science, Member of Pi Sigma Alpha, a national political science honor society, Member of Kappa Phi Kappa, a national honors education fraternity. Haverford College (1992-1994):  Overall GPA of 3.3, GPA of 3.5 in major, political science. Course work included an introductory microeconomics course (a 3.0 GPA) as well as a background in law.

Other Assignments include: Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) (1/03- 11/03) Somers Point, NJ. A volunteer appointed by DYFS court to defend the rights of children whose cases are currently being reviewed by DYFS and a court of law.  Responsibilities include creating presentations for the judge(s) and/ attorneys, offering recommendations regarding custody and/ or foster care, child advocacy, and child guidance. Regular paperwork as well as routine visits with the child are necessary for each case. District Attorney’s Office (12/92- 2/94) in Philadelphia, PA, Was Selected to Volunteer in Family Court Help Program and assisted the district attorney’s office two to four times a month.  Assisted people and court by helping them understand the policies, procedures, laws and paperwork of the Philadelphia court system.
